Everyone is invited to recite the rosary in church between the Masses in October. There are aides to assist you if you have never said the rosary or have only said it by yourself. Should you have questions, please see Arcelia Rodriguez, Kelly Frazier-Wawire or Avis Coleman.
12:30pm - 2:00pm
Join us after the 11:30am Mass for sandwiches, getting to know other students, and carving pumpkins.
Every Wednesday evening during the academic year students lead us in a 30-minute prayer service that includes hymns, petitions and reflections on a reading from the prior Sunday. The service begins at 7:00 PM at the God Box on IIT’s campus, 65 E. 32nd Street.
10:00am - 1:30pm
All Liturgical Ministers at St. James are invited to a day of reflection on liturgical ministry within St. James. Training will be provided for all new Liturgical Ministers. Lunch will be provided.
For 29 Oct 2017 Hot Chocolate Run, you can easily get to St. James from 29th and State. Lake Shore Drive will be closed from the river to 31st, so best to use I-90/I-94 to 31st. If you are east of Michigan and north of 31st, use Indiana, Prairie, or Calumet to get to 26th Street, and take King Drive north from 26th to 24th Place west (sort of getting on and off I-55 very briefly), and then down State Street. The race might be over by 11:30am. The map is here:
