Saint James’ Peace and Justice Committee is hosting an evening with Immaculee Illibagiza, a Rwandan Genocide Survivor, on Monday, October 30th at De La Salle Institute. The Committee is inviting Immaculee as part of its efforts in helping individuals and families affected by violence to heal. Immaculee’s story of suffering during the genocide and her ability to forgive and support the people who killed her family members has inspired many people around the world. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Admission is free, but tickets are required, as space is limited. Volunteers are needed for this event.
