APRIL62026

April 6, 2026 By Church Staff

God raised this Jesus; of this we are all witnesses. Jesus left us no book or writings. All that we know of him is what others said about him and did because of him. The most important mission in the history of the world depends on frail, fallible human beings to bring it to the world. That tells us two necessary things. One, that God trusts human beings to be bearers of his message. Despite the fact that we have messed up time and again God believes we are the fit vehicles for his message of love and mercy to be conveyed to the world. Second, the call to witness continues. Each of us, you and I, are called to be witnesses just as much as Peter was in the Acts of the Apostles. We are charged with bearing witness to what it means to have Christ in our lives by the values we hold, by the hehaviors we exhibit, by the love we share, by the relationships we foster.
