APRIL72026

April 7, 2026 By Church Staff

In the days after Vatican Council II the seminary held a series of workshops to help the priests and religious who were in active ministry learn what the Council was teaching about what it meant to be Catholic. Some of the changes were difficult for people of a given mindset to take and one older priest came out of a session muttering  “They have taken my Lord, and I don’t know where they laid him.” We can all to easily get comfortable in our idea about God, that they way I am thinking about God is the right way and everything else is wrong. But one thing that is clear: all of our ideas about God are, to some degree, wrong. God is always bigger, more that we can think or imagine. Look for more love and more hope and that will put you on a better path toward God.
