2nd Collection – Zacchaeus House (Sharing)
Come and spend an hour with our Lord. On the first Friday of every month St. James offers Eucharistic Adoration and the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the Tolton Chapel at the Rectory. Adoration is from 8:30A-9:30AM and 6-7PM. Reconciliation is available from 6-7PM.
For more information contact Peter Wawire at 312-842-1919 ext. 213 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Every second Sunday of the month St. James collects non-perishable food items and toiletries for its food pantry. Grocery bags are available in the back of church. Bring your donations to church with you on Sunday and place them in front of the altar.
St. James Food Pantry participates in the Food Depository’s Mobile Pantry program to provide supplemental perishable and non-perishable food products to individuals every Second Saturday of the month, 9:00AM to 12:00PM. This service is designed to ensure that all people in Cook County have access to food during times not typical for food distribution. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 8:00AM
Volunteers are needed on the third Sunday of every month to receive donated food items from our sharing parishes.
