JANUARY82021

January 8, 2021 By Church Staff

St. John’s epistle: I write these things to you so that you may know that you have eternal life. The key word there is “know.” What we have as people of faith is the knowledge of God’s unconditional love, God’s infinite compassion, God’s limitless forgiveness. It’s not that believers have God’s love and mercy to the exclusion of others. Rather, we know what we have and it is incumbent upon us to bring others to come to have that same knowledge. Every human being is loved by God already but without that knowledge their lives can be filled with fear and confusion. The call to evangelization is not that we bring God to others but that we help them to know God is with them.
