What time is it? The Bible says, “There is an appointed time for everything.” Figuring out what time it is in one’s life is a necessary part of prayer. When I was in leadership I had a very difficult discussion with a dedicated and holy priest telling him it was time for him to step down as pastor. “But I’m a good pastor,” he objected. And I agreed that was indeed a good pastor but it was a new time in his life. Now that he could no longer walk and his eyesight was going it was time for him to serve God in a different way. In your prayer today, ask the Lord what should you be doing at this time in your life.
