Pope Francis challenges us to be missionary disciples. In the Archdiocese we are asked to become evangelizers. Father Judge, the founder of my congregation, the Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity, said that “every Catholic is called to be an apostle.” Different words are being used but the same idea lies behind them — sharing the faith is not for “professionals” but is up to every believer. Many people are reluctant to talk about their faith because they feel they don’t know enough or aren’t holy enough. But Jesus instructs the first apostles “do not worry about how you are to speak or what you are to say… For it will not be you who speak but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.”
