“Why are you terrified, O you of little faith?” These words of Jesus are consoling but at the same time challenging. We are terrified because there are terrible things out there. We don’t always see the powerful word of the Lord calming the storms of life. But the message of scripture in so many ways is that we need to trust that in God all will be well. Be not afraid. Dismiss all anxiety from your minds. Fear not, little flock. Stop worrying, your heavenly Father knows what you need. When you see all of the troubles that people are going through currently it is hard not to worry, hard to keep fear at bay. We need to pray to get a better perspective.
